There’s something almost sacred about the jungle air in Ubud, the way it hums with calm and connection. For Ebony & Greg, this was exactly what they dreamed of for their wedding day: something quiet, intentional, and deeply rooted in nature’s beauty.
They chose The Kayon Resort, an intimate sanctuary overlooking the lush Ayung Valley, where the air is cool and the sound of the river softly fills the background. Nestled within the property stands a breathtaking bamboo chapel, open to the jungle’s embrace, a perfect setting for a love that needed no audience, only authenticity.

On the morning of their elopement, the mist rolled gently over the treetops, as if nature itself was preparing for the day.
The ceremony was beautifully private, just the couple, the sound of birds, and the rustle of the forest leaves. Under the bamboo chapel, they exchanged their vows, surrounded by flickering candles and cascading white florals that mirrored the purity of the moment.
Every detail from the natural white and green floral palette to the handcrafted elements of the altar was designed to blend seamlessly with the surrounding jungle, not overpower it. The result was a moment of stillness and magic, perfectly in tune with the rhythm of Bali.

Following the ceremony, Ebony & Greg wandered through the pathways of The Kayon for their private photoshoot. Every frame capturing their quiet laughter, the glimmer of sunlight through the bamboo, and the way they simply looked at home in that moment.

Ebony & Greg’s elopement reminds us that weddings don’t need grandeur to be breathtaking. Sometimes, it’s the stillness the quiet spaces between vows where love shines the brightest.
The bamboo chapel of The Kayon Resort offered not just a venue, but a feeling: peace, presence, and purity.
